Essence Gel Eyeliners

Hello ladies! It's Sunday again... Time to relax and bond with family and friends. I haven't been blogging for the past weeks as I was very busy with random stuffs and also, I went to Kuala Lumpur with hubby.
But anyways, today's review is about Essence gel eyeliners that I got from my mom when she was in Austria. I believe that eyeliners help enhance the eyes more. I can live with eyeliners alone, it doesn't matter if it's liquid, gel or pencil as long as I can work with it.

I fell inlove immediately with these eyeliners because of its smooth creamy texture. It's so easy to use and very pigmented. The packaging is also like mac, maybelline and bobby brown with small jar with thick lower glass-like. I was using the maybelline gel eyeliner before this and there were times that I'm having problem in using that. But with Essence, from the first time I tried lining my lashline with these, I got it right and use it everyday since then.

Shade: MIDNIGHT IN PARIS
MIDNIGHT IN PARIS is a jet black shade. Its the most perfect color for everyday and if you wanted to do some cat-eye look. One swipe of this color is fine because it's very pigmented.

Shade: LONDON BABY
LONDON BABY is my favorite! This shade is also perfect for everyday because the color is not so harsh. This one is like a dark brown, black or taupe color with micro shimmers in it which makes it pretty and wearable for daily use.

Shade: MIAMI'S INK
MIAMI'S INK is like shimmery light grayish blue shade. This one is more on a party look color and also for casual day out with friends. This is also very pigmented and so easy to work with.

On the photos below I used the London Baby and wore it the whole day. I must say that I was really impressed with the staying power. I didn't retouch it but still I can see that it really stayed on my lids the whole day. It didn't even smudge or transfer on my lower lashline but note that I do not have oily lids.

These are the swatches of the eyeliners:

It has a pretty god staying powers, I tried running the waters on it and it didn't even budge.

and then I tried to scrub it just to remove but I had a hard time doing it. The best way is use a good eye makeup remover with a cotton pad.

For now, I love using these! I know that these will be my bestfriend for my eye makeup. I only need this if I want a no makeup look when I go out, it will already emphasize my eyes and look dress up already.

  2. I wonder. Does it do well in lining the waterline?

    1. I'm not really sure, haven't tried it. I usually use eye pencil on my waterline, I only trust my Prestige or UD eye pencil because I have sensitive eyes. :)

  3. How long is the staying power?
