E.L.F BB Cream in Buff [Review]

Summer is definitely here, I can feel the heat in my body! And this is the time I wear and use lighter makeups especially on my foundations. I still prefer BB creams or liquid foundations that gives enough coverage then sometimes,  I set it with powder and a little blush, then final step is lipcolor. That's it! I'm good to go. ^_^

Two weeks ago, I got the E.L.F BB Cream as I was looking for something new to try. I love my Missha BB Cream but I wanted to try this since I read good feedbacks on this product. And this one is much affordable than my Missha and you can avail this on some beauty stores in the malls like Watsons.

The packaging is in squeezable tube type that you can completely finish the product, which is a good thing. And additional plus in the packaging is it comes with a pump! It controls and dispenses enough product that you need.

I got the shade Buff. Though there's not a lot of options to choose from Watsons. I thought the shade will look lighter than my skintone, but I was surprised that it's my perfect shade. It evens out my skin and covers my redness around the face.

The consistency is quite thick but still feels light on the skin. They said ELF BB cream is comparable to ELF Tinted moisturizer though I'm not sure because I didn't tried their tinted moisturizer. But honestly, I really love how it sets on my skin. It gives me glow and makes my skin looks radiant. Right now, I have dry to combo skin but it doesn't emphasize my dryness. It stays on me for about 5-6 hours with setting powder on some parts of my face only. I don't do retouch when using this because I like the dewy effects it gives throughout the day. Though I'm starting to see some redness especially around the nose area after 6 hours of use.

For application, I just use my clean fingers. I think it's the best tool for this as you can easily blend and even the BB cream all over your face. You might want to layer it on the spots you'll need. And lastly especially for who has oily skin, set it with your favorite setting powder for longevity.

I recommend this to those who want light makeup and to those who are just starting with makeup. And very affordable, it only cost Php 449 for 285ml. It's also perfect this summer because it already has SPF20 and gives you enough coverage.
