San San High Definition Foundation review

Hi friends! If u ask me what makeup products I love most to collect, my #1 would be foundations (in any kind) followed by lipsticks! Just can't get enough of them... and here comes another foundation review.. =p

Here is my 2nd item I got from HBC when I bought the San San High Definition Concealer which I reviewed here. I honestly didn't planned to get another foundation but as I was browsing through their new line, I got tempted to get this one. I tried their tester and it looks promising, so I decided I want one... my willpower failed me again! haha! It's a good thing that its very affordable, doesn't hurt much my wallet. ^_^

The packaging looks classy and expensive similar with high-end brands, but this one comes with a sturdy metallic purple pump which usually doesn't included in high-end foundations (usually you have to buy it separately).  Another plus factor is it has spf 30, which can be use for everyday andadditional protection of our skin!

The product has a creamy consistency, not too thick but not "liquidy" either. It has medium to full coverage. It can cover redness on my 1st layer but not so on the pimple marks. It has 3 shades - Natural, Beige, and Olive. For me, I thought Beige would be the safest shade for morenas but I think it's still looks lighter. Olive would be perfect! Planning to get that shade too.. :)

The smell is like sweet chocolate or vanilla to me, but fades after few minutes. So if your not a fan of scented foundation, you might want to reconsider this, as for me it doesn't bother me at all, I kinda love it!

On the picture shown below, I used San San HD foundation in beige on my sister-in-law's face. She has a few redness and blemishes but the foundation covered the redness immediately in just 1 layer. But still, you can see some blemishes on some parts and I just decided to put the San San HD concealer instead of doubling the layer of the foundation. She has an oily face and it lasted up to 4-hours on her during the daytime.

I'm very satisfied with this foundation! And it has a lot of skin benefits like bb creams, not to forget its affordable price of P195, it's a good steal! I cannot think of any cons, just maybe that it has only few variety of shades, well maybe a little mixing can solve that, right?  :)

Take care everyone!
