REVIEW: Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

Hello Ladies! It's been awhile since I last posted here in my blog, and it's almost end of June already! I attended lots of activities and events this month that I haven't had a chance to update. But rest assured that this following week that i'll be updating more and give you reviews about the products I got the past weeks.

 I finally got one of the most popular palette, the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette! I availed this one through an online shop, I was confident that all of her products are authentic. Anyway, I so love this palette because it is so me... simple and neutral! At first, I didn't plan on getting this palette because I already got the Lorac Pro Palette which is already perfect for me, but I keep seeing bloggers/friends raving about the Naked Basics that I decided to get one. But I have an excuse, because I don't have either the Naked palettes, and this is my first Urban Decay product ever! *wink*

The packaging is very simple and sturdy. The slim case is made of rubberized plastic which is very easy to hold with a large mirror inside the compact. The size of Naked Basics is only half of my Lorac Pro Palette. Perfect for travel!

 This palette really does contain the basics shades you'll need. The pigmentation is pretty good as well, I  don't usually use a primer for everyday makeup but still, it last up to 8 hours and more on me. It contains 5 matte and 1 slightly shimmer. The formula is easy to blend and velvety, I thought it would be powdery but it's not! These are the perfect shades for day makeups and also for a bit of dramatic looks.

Shades Description:

Venus - soft, off-white, demi-matte

Foxy - cream bisque matte

Walk of Shame - very light nude matte

Naked2 - taupe matte

Faint - warm, dusty brown matte

Crave - deepest, darkest brown/black matte

Overall:

I really love this palette (aside from my Lorac Pro)! If you are a lover of neutral shades, you'll definitely want this. Perfect for everyday. Perfect size for travelling. Pigmented, soft and velvety eyeshadows. And contains all the "basics" you need
