REVIEW: COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3in1 Foundation
Hello ladies! Another rainy Monday night again hoping you're safe and dry. I didn't go out today because of this bad weather, instead I decided to review my current foundation I'm using. I got this as a "pasalubong" from my sister-in-law who went to Illinois for work and visited her sister. I was really curious about this product because some say this is an alternative for the Revlon Colorstay foundation which is one of my all-time go-to foundation.
It has a bit of plastic scent like the Revlon Colorstay but much lesser and it fades away immediately after application. I usually use my beauty blender during application because for me, it's more moisturizing on the face and easy to blend throughout. I like the "after-effect" on my skin. But note that, I have normal to dry skin these days, this foundation has a matte finish, I don't set this with a setting powder, instead I use highlighter powder on my high points on my face to make it a bit dewy.
What I love most in this foundation is it comes with a pump! Where else can you get an affordable foundation with a pump?! And why do they always exclude the pump for a bottle of foundation, right? :) The pump is a big help to control the product you want to dispense. And it's more sanitary and convenient. A big plus for this foundation! :)
Below are my swatch on my face:
my bare face (w/ moisturizer) |
with 1 layer of CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3in1 Foundation |
And this is my final look with full makeup. I used only 1 layer of the foundation on my face, more will appear cakey already on me and this looks more natural on my skin. :P
Overall, I like this foundation. I've been using it everytime I go out. It gives flawless finish and it's long lasting. It has medium to full coverage, but has a lighweight feeling on my skin. As for me, I like spritzing a moisturizing setting spray to make it dewy on my face.
I just hope that it will soon be available here in the Philippines before I finish my bottle. I would like to have a stock on my vanity. :)
